Our mission is to support the academic and business needs of the SMG community with a robust infrastructure, efficient software and systems, prompt technical support and effective consulting services.
SMG ITS is staffed by IT professionals with experience in database management, network and desktop administration, Web
management, programming, and IT training and consulting.
SMG ITS exclusively supports SMG users and is concerned with the computers owned by the School. In addition, ITS
offers laptop assistance to students taking business school courses to ensure they can connect
to the SMG network and computer lab printers.
BU's Office of Information Technology (OIT) supports
computing services university-wide, providing the foundation, such as network and e-mail systems, upon which many ITS services
are built.
